Cookies

Our website makes use of so-called cookies in order to recognize repeat use of our website by the same user/internet connection subscriber. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser downloads and stores on your computer. They are used to improve our website and services. In most cases these are so-called "session cookies" that are deleted once you leave our website.

To an extent, however, these cookies also pass along information used to automatically recognize you. Recognition occurs through an IP address saved to the cookies. The information thereby obtained is used to improve our services and to expedite your access to the website.

You can prevent cookies from being installed by adjusting the settings on your browser software accordingly. You should be aware, however, that by doing so you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of our website.

Server Data

For technical reasons, data such as the following, which your internet browser transmits to us or to our web space provider (so called server log files), is collected:

  • type and version of the browser you use
  • operating system
  • websites that linked you to our site (referrer URL)
  • websites that you visit
  • date and time of your visit
  • your Internet Protocol (IP) address.

This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal information you may have provided, thereby making it impossible to connect it to any particular person. The data is used for statistical purposes in order to improve our website and services.

Handling personal data

Personal data is information that can be used to identify a person, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, email address or telephone number. But also data about nationality, profession or which websites were viewed by someone count as personal data. Personal data is only collected, used and passed on by us if this is permitted by law or the users consent to the data collection.

The collected data is not passed on to third parties. A comparison of the data collected in this way with data that may be collected by other components of our site also does not take place.

Registration for information events

The data entered during the registration for information events are stored and processed exclusively for the preparation of the respective information event. The collected data can be seen from the input mask during the registration. All collected data will be automatically deleted after one month after the respective info event. The data collected include:

  • Date and location of the information event
  • First and last name of the participant
  • Child's Birthday
  • Telephone number and e-mail address of the participant
  • Optional: message / note

Place request

The data entered as part of the place request is stored and processed exclusively to handle your request. It is passed on to the head of the facility you are making the request for, and you receive a confirmation by email. The place request is non-binding and does not replace the pre-registration in the Munich Kita Finder. The data collected can be seen in the input form of the place request. All data collected is deleted automatically six months after receipt of the request. The data collected includes:

  • Desired location
  • First and last name
  • Email address and telephone number
  • First name, date of birth or expected due date and gender of the child
  • Desired start of care and care hours
  • Optional: message/note on the request

Online job applications/application form

We collect and process your application data electronically for the purpose of handling the application process. If your application leads to the conclusion of an employment contract, the data you have submitted may be stored in your personnel file for the usual organizational and administrative purposes, in compliance with the relevant legal provisions.

If your application is rejected, the data you have submitted is deleted automatically six months after the application was received. This does not apply if a longer period of storage is required by law (for example because of the burden of proof under the General Equal Treatment Act) or if you have expressly agreed to longer storage in our database of interested applicants.

The data entered as part of an application is stored and processed exclusively for the handling and review of the application. The data collected can be seen in the input form of the application form. The data collected includes:

  • Salutation, first and last name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Selection of the desired job/position
  • Selection of the preferred facility (location)
  • Level of education and work experience
  • German language skills
  • Application documents as a PDF file
  • Optional: message/note on the application

Right to information/deletion/correction

On the basis of the Federal Data Protection Act, you may contact us at no cost if you have questions relating to the collection, processing or use of your personal information, if you wish to request the correction, blocking or deletion of the same, or if you wish to cancel explicitly granted consent. Please note that you have the right to have incorrect data corrected or to have personal data deleted, where such claim is not barred by any legal obligation to retain this data.

You can request information / deletion / correction of your personal data via this e-mail address: datenschutz@kukita.de

Web analytics with Matomo

We use Matomo on our website, an open-source web analytics software that we run on our own server. The analysis is carried out entirely without cookies.

We have configured Matomo so that no personal data is stored. In particular:

  • no cookies are set on your device,
  • your IP address is anonymized automatically and immediately,
  • no usage profiles are created,
  • no data is passed on to third parties.

Only technically necessary information is collected, such as the anonymized part of the IP address, browser type, operating system, pages accessed, referrer information and the time of the server request. This data is used exclusively for statistical evaluation and to improve our website.

Because the IP address is anonymized immediately, no conclusions can be drawn about individual persons. The processing is based on our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in analyzing the use of our website.

Integration of third-party services and content

It may happen that third-party content, such as videos from YouTube, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are integrated within this online offer. This always requires that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") perceive the IP address of the user. Without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is thus necessary for the display of this content. We endeavor to use only such content whose respective providers use the IP address only for the delivery of the content. However, we have no influence if the third-party providers store the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. Insofar as this is known to us, we inform the users about it.
