Kukita Großhadern

At Kukita Großhadern we offer 36 nursery children from 10 months to 3 years a second home – with a good staff ratio, so that our team can respond to every single child individually and personally.

In this sensitive phase of development, education is based above all on attachment and on the relationship with the caregivers. The quiet location on the edge of the city and a large garden give the children plenty of room to explore, play and romp about.

Caregiver playing with a child

A second home for the little ones

In each of the three groups of 12 children, a state-certified educator or social pedagogue leads the group. She is supported by trained childcare assistants and additional educational staff.

Close communication and regular exchange with parents are very important to us. Through photo galleries on the tablet, information boards and personal conversations you get an insight into our educational work. We regularly celebrate festivals with the parents, following the cycle of the year.

Child-friendly and loving

Our spacious, light-flooded group rooms are equipped with a wide range of play materials. A large hallway invites children to romp about, and on the first floor there is a room with a raised platform, slide and ball pit. Each group has an adjoining sleeping area that also allows for quiet periods of rest. There is also a large garden to explore, play and romp in.

Pedagogy & quality

Our educational work focuses on closeness to everyday life, on promoting independence and participation, and on individual care for each child according to their age. We foster openness between the nursery groups through mutual visits and cooperation across group boundaries. For the children in their last nursery year we organise the “WOW – Explorer Club” with activities across groups.
